En la celebración de la Game Developers Conference (GDC) se efectúa una gala llamada Game Developers Choice Awards (GDC Awards), para premiar a los juegos más destacados de cada año.
Este año Uncharted 4: El desenlace del Ladrón ha sido nominado a cuatro categorías, incluyendo la de 'Juego del Año'. Además, figura en las listas de 'Mejor Arte Visual' y 'Mejor Narrativa', nominaciones que comparte con The Last Guardian. Finalmente, la última aventura de Nathan Drake también opta al premio a 'Mejor Tecnología'.
La GDC se realizará del 27 de febrero al 3 de marzo y la gala de los GDC Awards, que contará con Tim Schafer como anfitrión, tendrá lugar el 1 de marzo.
