Se acerca el último gran evento de videojuegos del año, la gala The Game Awards 2025, que además de servir de lugar para aglutinar un buen puñado de anuncios y "World Premieres", también nos permitirá conocer a los mejores juegos del año y el preciado GOTY 2025.
Una edición que se celebrará el 11 de diciembre y de la que ya se conocen todos los nominados, con especial protagonismo a Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, que opta a 12 premios y se convierte en el juego con más nominaciones de la historia de estos galardones.

Malo será que Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 no se lleve varios premios, y también será una sorpresa si Sony Interactive Entertainment como editora no se lleva ningúno, pues tiene nada menos que 19 nominaciones (con Death Stranding 2: On the Beach y Ghost of Yotei repartiéndose ocho cada uno), seguida por Kepler Interactive con 13, y Microsoft y Electronic Arts con 10 cada una.
El premio gordo como siempre será el GOTY oficioso de 2025, donde este año los nominados son Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II, Hollow Knight: Silksong y Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. ¿Quién se lo llevará?
Hay un total de 27 categorías de premios, que serán otorgados mediante una votación mixta entre el jurado (90%) y el público (10%).
Desde hoy hasta el 10 de diciembre a las 18:00 (hora del Pacífico), los fans pueden votar por sus ganadores en todas las categorías a través de la web oficial.
